DynCorp to Pay Subcontractor In Racial Discrimination Suit (Washington Post)

A federal jury this week ordered DynCorp International, a government contractor based in Falls Church, to pay more than $15 million to a former minority-owned subcontractor, finding that DynCorp breached its contract and racially discriminated against the firm.

HONOLULU (AP) - NCL America Inc. has agreed to pay $485,000 to settle a discrimination lawsuit involving seven crew members with Middle East backgrounds who lost their jobs aboard the cruise ship Pride of Aloha.

Spiteri to add unlawful discrimination to Nine action (The West Australian)

Former Nine Network reporter Christine Spiteri is to add an unlawful discrimination complaint to her Federal Court action against the broadcaster. Ms Spiteri, 40, is already seeking damages of more than $500,000 in relation to breach of contract and Trade Practices Act claims.
