Preparations for the City of The Colony's annual Fourth of July festival, Liberty By The Lake, are well under way. Festivities begin with the 23rd annual Liberty 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, which is a family event for participants of all ages.

SAN BENITO - Vendors looking to be a part of the city's Fourth of July Resaca Fest can begin signing up today. Days after last year's successful Fourth of July event at the Heavin Resaca Trails, community members started planning for this year's event.
