Fall River's graduation rate rises for fifth straight year

For the fifth year in a row, more students are graduating from Fall River school district. According to numbers posted Thursday by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Fall River’s graduation rate hit 71 percent in 2011, an increase over the 66.2 percent mark in 2010.
