Severe thunderstorm warning for Ballarat

THE Bureau of Meteorology has warned of damaging winds, flash flooding and large hail for a wide area across Victoria, including Ballarat.

Interactive Distance Learning center to start meteorology class

Students at Newton High School will get to study meteorology in the new Interactive Distance Learning center during the next school year. USD 373 board members approved the course as one of several it gave approval to in a meeting in December.
