CEDAR CITY - The Boy Scouts of America, Cedar Breaks District, which consists of communities from Paragonah to New Harmony, will host the annual Scouting Expo. This event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at the Cedar High School soccer field.

Wayne Gomes ('94), the Monarchs relief pitching ace who earned All-CAA honors and was a first round selection of the 1993 Major League baseball draft will be inducted into the 2008 Athletic Hall of Fame for the Lower Virginia Peninsula.
