NEW DELHI - About 50 Kashmiri Pandits, protesting the revocation of the land allotment to the Amarnath shrine board, were yesterday detained after they barged into Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz's home here.

New Delhi: About 50 Kashmiri Pandit men and women broke the security cordon to barge into the premises of the official residence of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress president and Union Water Resources minister, Prof Saif-ud-din Soz, at New Delhi’s Akbar Road Sunday afternoon.

A group of Kashmiri Pandits broke into the house of Union Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz on Sunday. The police arrested fifty of them, including seven women, on charges of rioting and damaging property.
