Effinger Students Go To 'Camp U.S. History' (Rockbridge Weekly)

Effinger 4th and 5th grade students went to camp on Thursday, May 15!! Not summer camp but Camp U.S. History. In preparation for the upcoming history/social studies SOL testing, 5th grade teacher Richard Hasey planned a fun-filled learning activity.

"I think [church members] certainly recognize [the history]," says Center for Spiritual Living minister Frances Lorenz. "They love to comment on the architecture and all the wood. It has an energy to it. I think all the years of work have made it a special place.
