On May 5, The Banning Mexican American Scholarship Association held a dinner event in the Banning High School multi-purpose room. The main speaker was Gerry Lopez, Deputy District Attorney with Riverside County. If you go to see “How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer” expecting a “Latina film,” you're in for a surprise.
