With the support of MONUC's Gender Office, the DRC Gender, Family and Children Ministry from 28 June to 1 July 2008 trained the heads of the provincial Gender ministries and civil society activists from all the DRC's 11 provinces on resolution 1325, which relates to the impact of war and conflict on women.
