The Planetary Geology and Geophysics Undergraduate Research Program, or PGGURP, pairs qualified undergraduate students with NASA-funded investigators at research locations across the U.S. for eight weeks during the summer. Students will spend the summer at the NASA scientists' home institutions.

Bahamas Petroleum Corp. (BPC) has completed initial processing of the Pearl 3D seismic survey offshore the Bahamas. TGS, in partnership with WesternGeco, has begun to acquire 3D multi-client, wide-azimuth seismic data over 11,655 sq km (4,500 sq mi) of the Gulf of Mexico.
