Grand Opening Set For Artifact Museum (The Morning News)

BENTONVILLE - The Museum of Native American Artifacts is opening Thursday in a 5,000-square-foot location with four times the exhibit space and many more artifacts from a variety of public and private collections.

Sipra Banerjee, whose decomposed body was found in her Alipore Road flat on Tuesday, was not murdered, the preliminary finding of the post-mortem suggests. The 60-year-old might have died because of severe bleeding from an intestinal ulcer, aggravated by heavy intake of painkillers.

During the first three weeks in June, Audubon California’s Kern River Preserve hosted 13 researchers from UC Berkeley’s Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, who are conducting a five-year intensive study of the fauna of all of California’s ecosystems.
