Artistic Expressions Dentistry is raising money for the ALS Foundation this month. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord and can lead to paralysis.

A Middlesex group is tackling the rural doctor shortage with an unusual way of staffing a medical clinic to be built in Ilderton. The clinic's medical staff will be bolstered by interns who are finishing their training at the University of Western Ontario's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.
