David Stahl, a UW professor of civil and environmental engineering, has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering. Also elected are UW affiliate professor Henrique Malvar and UW alumnus Peter Farrell.

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) today (Feb. 9) announced it has named two UW-Madison engineers to its 2012 class of new members.

( National Academy of Sciences ) The National Academy of Engineering has elected 66 new members and 10 foreign associates, announced NAE President Charles M. Vest today. This brings the total US membership to 2,254 and the number of foreign associates to 206.
