Shopping mall ratings have given the new Westfield Albany centre four stars, with Lynnmall at the other end of the scale receiving just two stars. Retail experts RCG gave malls a points rating partly in response to harder economic times but just in case there's a midwinter shopping frenzy.

7 July 2008 Prime Minister Helen Clark says she is more worried about the threat of vigilantes, than the threat of crime in South Auckland. More than 10,000 people took part in the Asian Anti-crime Group's march through the Manukau suburb of Botany Downs on Saturday.
