The National Museum of American History will officially mark its reopening to the public with the firing of an 1812 cannon and a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning. FOX 5's Holly Morris visited and has a preview.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The National Museum of American History is reopening after a two-year, $85 million renovation. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell is scheduled to read President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address on Friday morning just before doors open to the public.
