Beecher seems the place to be this weekend with all kinds of fun for everyone. Teen bands will start performing at noon today at Firemen's Park, 673 Penfield St. in Beecher. There will be a carnival, food court and a beer tent. The parade starts at 4 p.m. There is a good possibility I will be riding in the parade with my friend Stan Hatfield and his new horse, Mike. Wave if you see me.

Brandon Chatham was on the phone in his Corona front yard Tuesday morning when he saw a ball of fire drop from the sky. "I personally thought it was a helicopter or a plane that exploded in mid-air," Chatham said.
