Rock band Puddle Of Mudd in town to play new studio album (The Argus Leader)

Puddle of Mudd pokes fun at Hollywood in their new album "Famous," once again bringing their signature combination of anthemic songs that never lack a sense of humor. The hard rock band plays July 30 at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall with Saving Abel, Rev Theory and Tyler Reed. Brian Howes (Hinder, Daughtry) co-wrote the single "Famous" with lead singer and guitarist Wesley Scantlin.

The best in television commercials was celebrated at the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Seventeenth Annual Show in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Honors were given in twenty-three categories, including humor, cinematography, visual effects and original music. Michael Brownlee has a look at some of the award winners in this video report.
