Gas drilling discussion to take place in Denton

As the Denton City Council continues discussion about a moratorium on new gas drilling and production permits until the city can revamp its gas drilling and production ordinance, a panel discussion at the University of North Texas will feature faculty members providing information on several topics related to drilling.

Transmission of Clostridium difficile in hospitals may not be through contact with infected patients

( Public Library of Science ) Contrary to current convention by which infection with the organism Clostridium difficile is regarded as an infection that is acquired by contact with symptomatic patients known to be infected with C. difficile, these may account for only a minority of new cases of the infection.
