Item’s Dining Out guide moves to Friday

The Item’s weekly Dining Out guide, which includes a coupon to fill out and return for your chance to win a $50 gift certificate to a local restaurant, moves this week to the Friday edition, and along with the guide, the Item tomorrow will begin running the weekly Restaurant Zings and Praises column, a compilation of reviews by callers to the Pat Whitley Restaurant Review Show.

Dining with Diabetes class set for Feb. 14

HUNTINGTON -- The West Virginia University Cabell County Extension Service will offer a Dining with Diabetes class from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Harmony United Methodist Church, 3800 Riverside Drive, Huntington. Registration will take place at 5:30 p.m. during week one.
