Education Minister-nominee Ahn Byong-man came under fire Tuesday after allegations surfaced he plagiarized his pupil’s thesis. Given Ahn’s thesis and that of his pupil’s were written at the same time, Ahn is suspected to either have used his pupil’s survey data or plagiarized his thesis.

LAS CRUCES — A senior faculty member in the embattled New Mexico State University College of Health and Social Services claims outgoing President Michael Martin threatened him with the release of a "three-inch file of dirt" unless he pursued plagiarism charges against two former colleagues, according to a report in today's Albuquerque Journal.
