Everyone’s favorite bath toy made a big splash last Saturday at the 21st annual Rubber Duck Races sponsored by the Kern Valley Exchange Club. The event, one of the valley’s most popular community gatherings, was held at Riverside Park in Kernville.

Bring your little explorers, children ages 2-5, to Halyburton Park for the Animal Needs in Nature program 9-10 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday to learn about what animals need to survive in the wild.
