Re: your May 9 editorial, “Poll shows a gap between drivers and motorcycles”: The editorial was informative, but lacked the reason why motorcycles are allowed to split lanes. It’s not so much for the convenience of the riders to get through gridlock on the freeways, but for mechanical reasons.Even Though It Can Be Legal, Should Lane Splitting Be Allowed?
