HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — The U.S. Weather Service is collecting artifacts and other items to create an interactive exhibit about the April 2011 tornadoes. Food bank collecting donations at rodeo parade

A tractor, a van and an idea was all that was needed for members of Leduc Fellowship Church to want to collect non-perishable items for the Leduc and District Food Bank at the Leduc Black Gold Rodeo parade on June 2.

The Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry will participate in Saturday’s annual Bowie Memorial Day Parade. Volunteers will be pushing shopping carts along the parade route, accepting donations of canned and dry good along with monetary donations.
