Concord man set to release second book about historic Cabarrus postcards

George Patterson’s collection of postcards shows a snapshot of Cabarrus County’s history that some residents may still remember. Since 1996, Patterson has been collecting postcards from the Cabarrus County area, and his collection has led to not one, but two books.

Town issues call for Moffat fund applications

For the 10th-straight year, the Town of Fort Frances will be receiving money from the Moffat Family Fund to hand out to local groups and service clubs with the aim of helping youths and families.
