Children waiting to be X-rayed at area hospitals will have age-appropriate reading materials, thanks to radiologic technology students at Northern Essex Community College. After discussing with anyone my desire to publish books, I am usually met with disbelieving glances and a sideways comment about books being replaced by the Internet in the next few years.
