It is no secret that I am a supporter of Barack Obama, and the fact that an African American could potentially ascend to the highest office in the U.S. government speaks to the progress the country has made in terms of race. However, after seeing the most recent cover of New Yorker magazine, I was reminded that there is still much work to be done.
