Iran: Navy Saves U.S. Ship From Pirates

Iran's navy says it has rescued a U.S.-flagged cargo ship from pirates in the Gulf of Oman. In a statement quoted by the official IRNA news agency, the navy said an Iranian warship responded to a distress signal from the ship "Maersk Texas," which was attacked by pirate boats on May 23.
