FIRST PERSON | One of the hardest decisions a breast cancer patient has to make is deciding on lumpectomy or mastectomy. In some cases, your cancer makes that decision for you. In my case, even though my cancer was multi-focal, I was given a choice. Every choice comes with a risk; additional surgeries are always a risk with a lumpectomy.
