Students at Pierce Elementary School, 1101 W. Vernon Ave., were rewarded Friday for their good health and hygiene. Pierce school received a plaque and a $500 award to use toward health education initiatives at the school.

Woolverton, Ulmer Engagement Announced (Shelbyville Daily Union)

Rick and Bev Woolverton of Shelbyville announce the engagement of their daughter Jaime to Garrett Ulmer of Springfield. The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Shelbyville High School and a 2003 graduate of Lake Land College with an Associates in Applied Science - Dental Hygiene.
