A man died after a fire in his south Wichita apartment Sunday morning, a fire official said. Officials responded to the fire around 6:30 a.m. and found the man in the apartment at 2424 S. A 2-year-old girl remains in critical condition at Palms West Hospital after relatives found her nearly drowned in a pool in the 6000 block of Fairgreen Road in suburban West Palm Beach.
