Famed Freestyle Ski Coach Dies In Tahoe Crash (KRXI-TV Reno)

The wreckage of an airplane belonging to retired freestyle ski coach Clayton Beck -- who trained Bay Area Olympic gold medalist Johnny Mosely, silver medalist Shannon Bahkre and others at Alpine Meadows -- was found Sunday in a heavily-forested area of the Sierra about 25 miles north of Truckee, authorities said.

Three days ago, experienced pilot Clayton Beck took off in his plane from The Truckee-Tahoe Airport for a quick flight. The Truckee native's plane was found Saturday by The Civil Air Patrol and a body in the wreckage.
