Himachal power project deals get murkier (Calcutta News)

A Canadian partner of Brakel Corp NV of the Netherlands, which has been allotted two multimillion-dollar hydro-power projects in Himachal Pradesh, has informed the state government that it has never collaborated with the Dutch firm for setting up any projects.

The Netherlands has banished tobacco smoke from restaurants and all other public places. But in a bizarre twist, patrons of certain coffee shops where marijuana is sold over the counter can still light up their cannabis joints.
