The Constitution Party - what’s that? Although I am not a member of a political party, I do try to keep up on the issues. And I continue to be amazed and disappointed by the short shrift, if any, given to many issues by the mainstream and local media.

    When Stein's Shoes closed in 1994, Midland's Main Street lost a landmark that had been in business for 65 years. During that time the ownership had gone from Isidor Stein to his son Marvin and then to Marvin's son Michael.
