Santa Clara District Attorney Dolores A. Carr announced that her office joined with district attorneys in San Mateo, Santa Cruz and Alameda counties in resolving a civil action against Kelly-Moore Paint Co. Inc. The complaint alleges that San Carlos-based Kelly-Moore violated the law by charging retail customers more than the lowest price advertised or posted for products.

CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) - U.S. attorneys officials say four men have been charged with failing to register as a sex offender. The federal indictments against the men were filed this week in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids. Officials say the cases are unrelated.
