The 2008 edition of the Saline County Fair wrapped up on Sunday, July 20. After handing out special awards, fair board president Sam Igo told the 231 exhibitors, "Thank you for participating and thank you for making Saline County proud of their fair."

Army officials have moved a Friday awards ceremony indoors and bumped up the time. Valor awards will be presented to three Special Operations Command soldiers at 8 a.m. in Room 275 in Bank Hall.
