The Art of Peace Foundation announced today that over a dozen of the world's top musical artists, including Sting, Dave Mathews, Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, Moby and Garbage are coming together for an album entitled, "Songs for Tibet - The Art of Peace".

A new grant program from the Joint Cultural Economy Committee is available to help local artists. Two artists from the east side of St. Tammany Parish and two from the west side will be eligible to receive an award of $2,000 each.
