German business confidence drops in July (Deutsche Welle)

A key index has found that German business confidence slumped in the month of July. The closely watched Ifo business sentiment index fell more than anticipated to 97.5 points this month, due to concerns over the cost of the euro, rising inflation and higher interest rates.
