Winfred Rembert spent his early life in Georgia, where he says, one of his earliest memories is being toted around in his mother's cotton sack. Many years later, the self-taught artist created a series of artworks called "Cotton Field," where cotton balls snake relentlessly through rows of toiling field hands.
