PRAIRIE VIEW - Prairie View A&M University has announced a new comprehensive financial aid loan initiative through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. Since 1996, PVAMU has participated in the bank-sponsored Federal Family Educational Loan Program (FFELP).  The university will replace the FFEL Program with the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program beginning August 2008.
