Atari has hired Olivier Rameil, formerly of Gameloft, as its new sales and marketing director for Europe. "Olivier brings a wide range of experience and a strong record for execution in the mobile industry," said CEO Jim Wilson.

Eden Games, maker of Alone in the Dark and Test Drive Unlimited, "has not closed", owner Atari has clarified - and Test Drive Unlimited 2 support isn't in jeopardy. An Atari representative has told Joystiq that despite the "divestiture process" wording in the financial statement sourced below suggesting closure of the studio, Eden Games has not been fully liquidated. Eden Games still exists, and Atari plans to support the studio moving forward ...
