Precision surveying tool runs Windows CE (WindowsForDevices)

— May 07, 2008 — Sokkia Co. Ltd. has announced a precision optical "total station" surveying instrument using Windows CE 5.0. The NET05 operates over distances up to 11,480 feet, measures within 2.4 seconds, automatically follows targets moving at up to 56mph, and is accurate to half a millimeter, claims Sokkia.
