The University of Michigan Exhibit Museum of Natural History and the entire Ruthven Museums Building will be closed today, so that workers can replace a rooftop chiller unit using a large crane. Today's free dinosaur tour scheduled for 2 p.m. and the full slate of planetarium shows are all canceled.

PONTIAC -- Construction has begun on an elevator that will allow those with limited mobility to visit the Livingston County War Museum and the photography display at the Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum.
