Sweden June Jobless Rate Way Above Forecast (INO News)

(RTTNews) - Thursday, the Sweden jobless rate jumped to 8.1% in June from 5.9% in May, according to data released by Statistics Sweden. Economists were looking for a jobless rate of 7.3% for June.

July 24 (Bloomberg) -- TeliaSonera AB , Sweden's largest telephone company, said second-quarter profit gained 7.8 percent as growth in Russia and Turkey helped make up for sluggish demand in the Nordic region.
