Stanford Hospital & Clinics plans to sell some services performed at its Palo Alto clinical laboratory "in the near future," a Stanford spokesman told the San Francisco Business Times, but he disputed published accounts saying it plans to sell the entire lab and to lay off as many as 350 workers.
