The city of Southlake is calling all artists. “Quality of life, we believe as many do, is more than just having roads and police, it’s also having good parks, places to go and see,� said Kerry McGeath, deputy director of city services and city librarian. “Public art is a big part of that.�

Art in the Park will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, continuing the Art Weekend in old town Bluffton. Local artists will be painting throughout the day in the park on Boundary Street next to the Society of Bluffton Artists Gallery.
