Budget woes could pinch police, libraries (Fall River Herald News)

If all town departments were to reduce their budgets to the same levels as fiscal 2007, the elementary school would have to lay off 15 staff members, three police officers would be laid off, the town fire department might have to seek help from a private source for ambulance services and town residents may not be eligible for library services.
