Britney Spears is among the nominees of the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, it will be announced on F'N MTV Friday. The 26-year-old VMA veteran is up for Best Female Music Video for "Piece of Me." Spears will compete in the category against Katy Perry for "I Kissed a Girl," Rihanna for "Take a Bow," Mariah Carey for "Touch My Body" and Jordin Sparks for "No Air." Although Yahoo Music Unlimited subscribers have known since February that their music service would end in September, they may have been surprised to learn this week they would need to back up any purchased tracks on an audio CD by September 30 if they wanted to keep them. Failure to do so could leave users unable to play music they had bought.
