Mumbai, Jul 9 : With water scarcity in the state taking a toll on the agriculture sector, the Maharashtra Government has decided to provide work on demand, under the Employment Guarantee Scheme at places that have received less than 50 per cent rain, compared to the normal rainfall, according to Relief and Rehabilitation Principal Secretary Rameshkumar.
