Aerial acrobatics fly into Metroplex

A major airshow, Take to the Skies AirFest, is about to take over the Metroplex during Memorial Day weekend, May 26-27. The event will begin both days at 10 a.m. at Mesquite Metro Airport, 1340 Airport Blvd.

Lots of masks, pageantry and high flying acrobatics are about to invade the Mesquite Arena on April 22, when Luche Libre USA’s Masked Warriors Live Tour heads into the Metroplex.

I visited Stoke High School last week and was amazed by some of the acrobatics on display as the best under-16 and 14 trampolinists from the county’s schools convened for the Suffolk Schools (level 3) County Finals.
