Swank of the past outdrew the dynamism of today when it came to public voting on artful public restrooms. Louisville's 21c Museum Hotel restrooms, with video and faux voyeur elements in a decidedly edgy contemporary art vein, came in second to the grand old scale and Art Deco look of the restrooms in the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.
